Optika Photography We are Kerah & Kris – the duo behind the lens of Optika (Op-tee-kuh) Photography.

We’ve been shooting together as Optika for over seven years, and I’ve been at it on my own for over a decade.

If you love to have fun, laugh, dance, and let your hair down, than we are the photographers for you! We love when clients don’t take themselves too seriously… just let loose and be your fabulous selves! At the same time, we love capturing quiet and romantic moments and adore the classic look of black and white photos.

We find our inspiration in chasing down natural light, capturing the essence of what makes one uniquely beautiful and showcasing organic life and love through our images.

Our Wedding Story

We love all kinds of wedding celebrations, but are especially partial to personalized and intimate gatherings.

Our wedding took place in my grandparent’s home gymnasium – replete with hardwood floors. We used vintage furniture to create cozy spaces for our guests to interact, strung dozens of paper lanterns and white lights, and each of our guests held candles during our self-uniting ceremony. We wrote our own vows and everyone signed their names as witnesses to the event. I wore a black dress and we danced the night away on the rose-petal splattered floor.
